Precision Screw-Driving Interface
OVERVIEW
Can we achieve a symbiotic relationship between man and machine?
The Mimic is a digital / physical interface that acts as a bridge between man and machine. It combines the rigidity and accuracy of robotic automation and the fluidity and critical thinking of a human mind.
It offers the operator the capability to pick and load screws directly behind the screwdriver, while the robotic arm system offsets the weight and assists the user’s motion, rendering the machine weightless. The Mimic aims to achieve a symbiotic relationship between future automation and the human workforce.
